Expanded Graphite

Key characteristics

Expanded graphite is produced by expanding expandable graphite. It has a porous structure and high specific surface area, with high temperature resistance, radiation shielding, insulation, lubrication, plasticity, and chemical stability.

Applications

Steel/metallurgy, petroleum/chemical, machinery, aerospace, nuclear; also stealth and flame-retardant materials.

Selection notes

Specifications are closely related to expandable grades. Choose or customize based on actual process conditions and target expansion ratio/purity/sulfur levels.
